Last May, a bunch of Mama Runners SG and their kids joined Cold Storage Kids Run 2013 in Singapore. The Kids Run is one of the few annual running events in Singapore that is only for kids. The parents are just their chaperones. Aina had been waiting for this event with much anticipation... she calls it, "MY running race" :)

This year, 4 girls would be running in the same category: Aina, sLesTa's Naia, charissarhanie's Keira, and Mamabelle's Amabelle. The only boy, Dea's Dillan (not in the picture) is in the younger category...

Aina, Naia and Keira were running together (Amabelle's chaperone was her dad, so they were ahead of us), so it was a lot more fun than last year's Kids Run. They were holding hands everywhere...

...and I think they would've kept holding hands during the run if they weren't told to let go...

For their age bracket, the run was only 800m, a short and manageable distance. So the kids were laughing and chasing each other all the way to the finish line. Parents were busy chasing their kids and taking their pictures. It was indeed a chaotic fun.

When it got closer to the finish (read: when the kids started to get tired), there were lines of cheering squads with their balloons, tambourines and all kinds of noise-making devices, yelling and giving much-needed fun cheers and high-fives to the kids. Super fun!

And at the end, the kids got their medals and race certificates... and very proud smiles.
