The Urban Mama Runners Singapore were honored to receive guest runners from Indonesia to join us in our Sunday Morning Run, on 13th January 2013. The guest is none other than the living legend runners, Kang Aki and Kang Hendra, although only Kang Aki was running with us since Kang Hendra didn't bring the running outfits. Mama runners Singapore usually run together on a monthly basis, and for this we specifically created a Sunday Morning Run, with 2 legs - short and long run - through a scenic route from East Coast Park to Marina Bay. First leg at 9K and second leg at 4.5K, totaling a 13.5K run.

We met at dawn, at 6AM at East Coast Park then we ran together through the park connector to Kallang Park, scenic Tanjung Rhu, Marina Barrage, Gardens by the Bay then we all met at Marina Bay Sands. The second leg continued the run for a loop around the bay and ends at the same spot we ended the first leg.

Had our breakfast at Marina Bay Sands. It was a lovely scenic run and a wonderful post-run chats with Kang Aki and Kang Hendra who shared with us their experiences and videos from their recent awesome trail runs. Awesomely beautiful!!
